حَدِيثُ بَعْضِ أَزْوَاجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهَاHadith of some of the wives of the Prophet (peace be upon him) (may Allah be pleased with her)
Hadith 23223

حَدَّثَنَا عَبدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، وَعَبدُ الرَّزَّاقِ , عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ ، عَنْ أَبي بكْرِ بنِ عَبدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ بعْضِ أَصْحَاب النَّبيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّ النَّبيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " رُئِيَ بالْعَرْجِ وَهُوَ يَصُب عَلَى رَأْسِهِ الْمَاءَ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ ، مِنَ الْحَرِّ أَوْ الْعَطَشِ " .
It is narrated from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was seen at a place called "Arj" pouring water over his head due to heat or thirst while in the state of fasting.
