ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 2320

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ بْن أَحْمَد : وَسَمِعْتُهُ أَنَا مِنْهُ ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ ، عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " صَلَّى فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُتَوَشِّحًا بِهِ ، يَتَّقِي بِفُضُولِهِ حَرَّ الْأَرْضِ وَبَرْدَهَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed in a garment—having wrapped it well—and used its extra part to protect himself from the heat and cold of the ground.
