Hadith 23188

حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبةُ ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عُبيْدَ بنَ الْقَعْقَاعِ يُحَدِّثُ رَجُلًا مِنْ بنِي حَنْظَلَةَ ، قَالَ : رَمَقَ رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي ، فَجَعَلَ يَقُولُ فِي صَلَاتِهِ : " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبي ، وَوَسِّعْ لِي ذَاتِي ، وَبارِكْ لِي فِيمَا رَزَقْتَنِي " .
It is narrated from a companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that he once saw the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) praying, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was saying: O Allah, forgive my sins, grant me personal ease, and bless my sustenance.
