حَدَّثَنَا أَبو عَامِرٍ عَبدُ الْمَلِكِ بنُ عَمْرٍو ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبدُ اللَّهِ بنُ أَبي سُلَيْمَانَ ، مَدِينِيٌّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بنُ عَبدِ اللَّهِ بنِ خُبيْب ، عَنْ أَبيهِ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا فِي مَجْلِسٍ ، فَطَلَعَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَلَى رَأْسِهِ أَثَرُ مَاءٍ ، فَقُلْنَا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، نَرَاكَ طَيِّب النَّفْسِ ، قَالَ : " أَجَلْ " ، قَالَ : ثُمَّ خَاضَ الْقَوْمُ فِي ذِكْرِ الْغِنَى ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا بأْسَ بالْغِنَى لِمَنْ اتَّقَى اللَّهَ ، وَالصِّحَّةُ لِمَنْ اتَّقَى اللَّهَ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْغِنَى ، وَطِيب النَّفْسِ مِنَ النِّعَمِ " .
Abdullah bin Khubaib narrates from his uncle that we were sitting in a gathering when the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) came, and there were signs of water on his blessed head. We said, "O Messenger of Allah! We see you very happy." The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Yes!" Then people started talking about wealth, so the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "There is no harm in wealth for the one who fears Allah, but for the one who fears Allah, health is better than wealth, and the happiness of the heart is also a blessing."
