Hadith 23153

حَدَّثَنَا عَبدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ أَبي الزَّعْرَاءِ ، عَنْ أَبي الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ بعْضِ أَصْحَاب النَّبيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " كَانَتْ تُعْرَفُ قِرَاءَةُ النَّبيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الظُّهْرِ ، بتَحْرِيكِ لِحْيَتِهِ " .
It is narrated from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the Zuhr prayer, the recitation of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was known by the movement of his blessed beard.
