Hadith 23149

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبو بشْرٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ حَسَّانَ بنَ بلَالٍ يُحَدِّثُ , عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَسْلَمَ مِنْ أَصْحَاب رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يُصَلُّونَ مَعَ النَّبيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَغْرِب ، ثُمَّ يَرْجِعُونَ إِلَى أَهْلِيهِمْ أَقْصَى الْمَدِينَةِ يَرْتَمُونَ ، يُبصِرُونَ وَقْعَ سِهَامِهِمْ " .
It is narrated from a companion of the tribe of Aslam (may Allah be pleased with him) that when they performed the Maghrib prayer with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and returned to their homes at the corner of Madinah, they could see the spot where their arrows fell along the way.
