حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبةُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بنِ أَوْسٍ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ حَدَّثَهُ مُؤَذِّنُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : نَادَى مُنَادِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي يَوْمٍ مَطِيرٍ : " صَلُّوا فِي الرِّحَالِ " .
A person was informed by the Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) muezzin that one day it was raining, so the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) caller announced: “O people! Pray in your tents.”
