Hadith 23133

حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بنُ دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنِي ابنَ جَعْفَرٍ ، أَخْبرَنِي مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابنَ أَبي حَرْمَلَةَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَخْبرَهُ أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَضُمُّ إِلَيْهِ حَسَنًا وَحُسَيْنًا ، يَقُولُ : " اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُحِبهُمَا فَأَحِبهُمَا " .
It is narrated from a Companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that he once saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) embracing Hasan and Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them) with his body, and at that time the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was saying: "O Allah! I love both of them, so You also love both of them."
