Hadith 23102

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبةُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبا مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أَبي سَلَمَةَ بنِ عَبدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبرَنِي مَنْ رَأَى النَّبيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يُصَلِّي فِي الثَّوْب الْوَاحِدِ ، قَدْ خَالَفَ بيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ " .
It is narrated from a companion, may Allah be pleased with him, who visited the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, once offered prayer in such a way that he was wearing only one garment, and its two ends were taken out from opposite sides and placed over his shoulders.
