Hadith 23100

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بنُ أَبي عَبدِ اللَّهِ الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بنِ أَبي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبي سَلَّامٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا حَدَّثَهُ , أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " بخٍ بخٍ لِخَمْسٍ مَا أَثْقَلَهُنَّ فِي الْمِيزَانِ " ، قَالَ رَجُلٌ : مَا هُنَّ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : " لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبرُ ، وَسُبحَانَ اللَّهِ ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ، وَالْوَلَدُ الصَّالِحُ يُتَوَفَّى فَيَحْتَسِبهُ وَالِدُهُ ، خَمْسٌ مَنْ اتَّقَى اللَّهَ بهِنَّ مُسْتَيْقِنًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ : مَنْ شَهِدَ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ ، وَأَيْقَنَ بالْمَوْتِ ، وَالْبعْثِ ، وَالْحِسَاب " .
It is narrated from a freed slave companion of the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him) that the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "How excellent are five things! And how heavy are they in the scale of deeds? La ilaha illallah, Allahu Akbar, Subhanallah, Alhamdulillah, and a righteous child who passes away and his father remains patient over it." And he said: "How excellent are five things! Whoever meets Allah with faith in these five things will enter Paradise: having faith in Allah, in the Day of Judgment, in Paradise and Hell, in being resurrected after death, and in the reckoning."
