Hadith 23098

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أخبرنا سُفْيَانُ بنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بنِ وَثَّاب ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَاب النَّبيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : أَظُنُّهُ ابنَ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " الْمُؤْمِنُ الَّذِي يُخَالِطُ النَّاسَ وَيَصْبرُ عَلَى أَذَاهُمْ ، أَعْظَمُ أَجْرًا مِنَ الَّذِي لَا يُخَالِطُ النَّاسَ ، وَلَا يَصْبرُ عَلَى أَذَاهُمْ " .
It is mostly narrated from Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: That Muslim who mixes with people and is patient over the harm that comes from them is far greater in reward than that Muslim who does not associate with people so that he does not have to be patient over their harm.
