Hadith 23079

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ نَصْرِ بنِ عَاصِمٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْهُمْ ، أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَأَسْلَمَ عَلَى أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ صَلَاتَيْنِ ، " فَقَبلَ مِنْهُ " .
It is narrated from a companion (may Allah be pleased with him) that when he came to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to accept Islam, he made the condition that he would only perform two prayers. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) accepted his condition.
