ومن مسند بني هاشمFrom the Musnad of Banu Hashim
مُسْنَدُ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَاMusnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them)
Hadith 2305

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " طَافَ سَبْعًا وَطَافَ سَعْيًا ، وَإِنَّمَا سَعَى أَحَبَّ أَنْ يُرِيَ النَّاسَ قُوَّتَهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) performed seven circuits (Tawaf) around the House of Allah, and also performed seven circuits during Sa’i. During Sa’i, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wished to show his strength to the polytheists (therefore he ran between the two green markers).
