Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that once I was sleeping during the month of Ramadan, and in a dream someone said to me that tonight is Laylat al-Qadr. I woke up, and at that time I was overcome by drowsiness. To shake it off, I hung onto a pole of the tent of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Then I went to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and he was performing prayer. When I paid attention, it was the twenty-third (23rd) night.
