Hadith 22974

حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ أَبي رَبيعَةَ ، عَنْ ابنِ برَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا تُتْبعْ النَّظْرَةَ النَّظْرَةَ ، فَإِنَّمَا لَكَ الْأُولَى ، وَلَيْسَتْ لَكَ الْآخِرَةُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not look again at a non-mahram woman after the first glance, because the first glance is forgiven for you, but the second glance is not forgiven."
