It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was afflicted with hardship, he used to say: “«لَاإِلٰهَإِلَّااللّٰهُالْعَلِيمُالْعَظِيمُلَاإِلٰهَإِلَّااللّٰهُرَبُّالْعَرْشِالْعَظِيمِلَاإِلٰهَإِلَّااللّٰهُرَبُّالسَّمَاوَاتِالسَّبْعِوَرَبُّالْعَرْشِالْكَرِيمِ» There is no deity except Allah, the Most Great, the Most Forbearing. There is no deity except Allah, Lord of the Mighty Throne. There is no deity except Allah, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth, and Lord of the Noble Throne.”
