Hadith 22962

حَدَّثَنَا أَبو مُعَاوِيَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنِ ابنِ برَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبيهِ ، قَالَ أَبو مُعَاوِيَةَ : وَلَا أُرَاهُ سَمِعَهُ مِنْهُ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا يُخْرِجُ رَجُلٌ شَيْئًا مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ حَتَّى يَفُكَّ عَنْهَا لَحْيَيْ سَبعِينَ شَيْطَانًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whatever charity a person gives, it frees him from the jaws of seventy devils.
