حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بنُ عَامِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ، عَنْ وَاصِلِ بنِ حِيانَ الْبجَلِيِّ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبدُ اللَّهِ بنُ برَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ أَبيهِ ، عَنِ النَّبيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم قَالَ : " الْكَمْأَةُ دَوَاءُ الْعَيْنِ ، وَإِنَّ الْعَجْوَةَ مِنْ فَاكِهَةِ الْجَنَّةِ ، وَإِنَّ هَذِهِ الْحَبةَ السَّوْدَاءَ ، قَالَ ابنُ برَيْدَةَ : يَعْنِي الشُّونِيزَ الَّذِي يَكُونُ فِي الْمِلْحِ دَوَاءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ ، إِلَّا الْمَوْتَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Truffle is a cure for the eyes, Ajwa is a fruit from Paradise, and this black seed which is in salt is a cure for every disease except death.
