Hadith 22913

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ : " قُومُوا صَلُّوا حَتَّى أُصَلِّيَ لَكُمْ صَلَاةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : فَصَفُّوا خَلْفَهُ ، فَكَبَّرَ ، ثُمَّ قَرَأَ ، ثُمَّ كَبَّرَ ، ثُمَّ رَكَعَ ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَكَبَّرَ ، فَفَعَلَ ذَلِكَ فِي صَلَاتِهِ كُلِّهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Malik Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said to his people, "Stand up so that I may lead you in prayer as the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray." So the people formed rows behind him. He said the takbeer and bowed (in ruku'), then raised his head and said the takbeer (and went into prostration), and he did this throughout the entire prayer.
