Hadith 22911

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Malik Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to keep the recitation and standing equal in all four rak'ahs, and he would make the first rak'ah relatively longer so that people could join in it. In arranging the rows, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would place men in front of boys, boys behind them, and women behind the boys. And when he would go into prostration or raise his head from it, he would say takbeer, and when standing between the two rak'ahs, he would also say takbeer.
