حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمٌ ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي سَهْلُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ , أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَسْلَمَ جَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّهُ قَدْ زَنَى بِامْرَأَةٍ سَمَّاهَا ، فَأَرْسَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الْمَرْأَةِ فَدَعَاهَا ، فَسَأَلَهَا عَمَّا قَالَ ، فَأَنْكَرَتْ ، فَحَدَّهُ وَتَرَكَهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man from the tribe of Aslam came to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said that he had committed adultery with a woman, and he also mentioned her name. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called for that woman and asked her about what the man had said, but she denied it. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) carried out the prescribed punishment on the man and let the woman go.
