Hadith 22867

It is narrated from Hazrat Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a drink was brought to the service of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) drank from it. On his right side was a boy and on his left were elderly people. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked the boy, "Do you permit me to give your turn to them?" The boy replied, "No," and said, "By Allah! I will not give preference to anyone over my share from you." So the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) placed the vessel in his hand.
