حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْعَطَّافُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ : " غَدْوَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا ، وَرَوْحَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا ، وَمَوْضِعُ سَوْطٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا " . .
It is narrated from Hazrat Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: To go out in the way of Allah for a morning or an evening is better than the world and whatever is in it, and the place of a whip of any person in Paradise is better than the world and whatever is in it.
