حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ , وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَزْرَقُ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يَزَالُ النَّاسُ بِخَيْرٍ مَا عَجَّلُوا الْفِطْرَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "My Ummah will remain upon goodness as long as they hasten in breaking the fast and delay the pre-dawn meal (suhoor)."
