حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُوحٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ ، قَالَ : " كَرِهَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمَسَائِلَ وَعَابَهَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) considered asking (begging) to be disliked and blameworthy. (For complete details, see Hadith number 23218)
