It is narrated from Hazrat Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) that once there arose a difference of opinion between two men from Banu Khudrah and Banu Amr bin Awf regarding the identification of the mosque which was founded on piety from the very first day. The opinion of the man from Amr was that it referred to Masjid Quba, while the man from Khudrah believed it referred to Masjid Nabawi. Both of them came to the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked about it. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), deciding the matter, said: "It refers to my mosque."
