حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ الْهُذَلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ الصَّامِتِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ تَصَدَّقَ عَنْ جَسَدِهِ بِشَيْءٍ ، كَفَّرَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ بِقَدْرِ ذُنُوبِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever receives a wound on his body and then gives charity, Allah Almighty, in proportion to that charity, expiates his sins.
