حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُجَاعُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ عُبَادَةُ بْنُ الصَّامِتِ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " مَنْ جُرِحَ فِي جَسَدِهِ جِرَاحَةً فَتَصَدَّقَ بِهَا ، كَفَّرَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَنْهُ بِمِثْلِ مَا تَصَدَّقَ بِهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever receives a wound on his body and then gives charity, Allah Almighty, in proportion to that charity, expiates his sins.
