Hadith 2276

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) began to pray during a part of the night. I also stood up, performed ablution, and came to stand on the left side of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) turned me around and placed me on his right side. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed thirteen rak‘ahs in which the standing (qiyam) was equal.
