حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى : حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ مُرَّةَ ، أَنَّ عُبَادَةَ بْنَ الصَّامِتِ حَدَّثَهُمْ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ مِنْ نَفْسٍ تَمُوتُ وَلَهَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ خَيْرٌ تُحِبُّ أَنْ تَرْجِعَ إِلَيْكُمْ ، وَلَهَا الدُّنْيَا ، إِلَّا الْقَتِيلُ ، فَإِنَّهُ يُحِبُّ أَنْ يَرْجِعَ فَيُقْتَلَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no human being who dies on the face of the earth, for whom a good decision has been made by the Lord, who would consider returning to you as good—except for the one martyred in the way of Allah, for he wishes to return to the world so that he may attain martyrdom again.
