حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الْجَنَّةُ مِائَةُ دَرَجَةٍ ، مَا بَيْنَ كُلِّ دَرَجَتَيْنِ مِنْهُمَا كَمَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ ، الْفِرْدَوْسُ أَعْلَاهَا دَرَجَةً ، مِنْهَا تُفَجَّرُ أَنْهَارُ الْجَنَّةِ الْأَرْبَعَةُ ، وَمِنْ فَوْقِهَا يَكُونُ الْعَرْشُ ، وَإِذَا سَأَلْتُمْ اللَّهَ ، فَاسْأَلُوهُ الْفِرْدَوْسَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ubada (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Paradise has one hundred levels; between each two levels is a distance of one hundred years. The highest rank is the level of Jannat al-Firdous. From it flow the four rivers, and above it is the Throne of Allah. Therefore, when you ask Allah, ask Him for Jannat al-Firdous.
