حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ حِطَّانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الرَّقَاشِيِّ ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " خُذُوا عَنِّي ، قَدْ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لَهُنَّ سَبِيلًا ، الثَّيِّبُ بِالثَّيِّبِ وَالْبِكْرُ بِالْبِكْرِ ، الثَّيِّبُ يُجْلَدُ وَيُرْجَمُ ، وَالْبِكْرُ يُجْلَدُ وَيُنْفَى " . .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Take this from me, take this from me. Allah Almighty has set a way for women: if an unmarried man commits fornication with an unmarried woman, he should be given a hundred lashes and exiled for one year. And if a married man commits fornication with a married woman, he should be given a hundred lashes and also stoned to death."
