حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ حِطَّانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الرَّقَاشِيِّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ الصَّامِتِ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " إِذَا نَزَلَ عَلَيْهِ الْوَحْيُ ، أَثَّرَ عَلَيْهِ كَرَبَ لِذَلِكَ ، وَتَرَبَّدَ وَجْهُهُ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاة وَالسَّلَامُ ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ ، فَلَمَّا سُرِّيَ عَنْهُ ، قَالَ : " خُذُوا عَنِّي ، قَدْ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لَهُنَّ سَبِيلًا ، الثَّيِّبُ بِالثَّيِّبِ ، وَالْبِكْرُ بِالْبِكْرِ ، الثَّيِّبُ جَلْدُ مِائَةٍ وَرَجْمٌ بِالْحِجَارَةِ ، وَالْبِكْرُ جَلْدُ مِائَةٍ ثُمَّ نَفْيُ سَنَةٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) that when revelation would descend upon the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he would experience a state of intensity and the color of his blessed face would change. One day, revelation descended, and when that state passed, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Take this from me, take this from me. Allah Almighty has fixed a way for women: if an unmarried man commits fornication with an unmarried woman, he should be given one hundred lashes and exiled for one year; and if a married man commits fornication with a married woman, he should be given one hundred lashes and also stoned to death."
