حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ , وَرَوْحٌ , وَعَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ , قَالُوا : أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ : وَقَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى : أَيْضًا حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ مُرَّةَ ، أَنَّ عُبَادَةَ بْنَ الصَّامِتِ حَدَّثَهُمْ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ مِنْ نَفْسٍ تَمُوتُ وَلَهَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى خَيْرٌ تُحِبُّ أَنْ تَرْجِعَ إِلَيْكُمْ ، إِلَّا الْمَقْتُولُ ، وَقَالَ رَوْحٌ : إِلَّا الْقَتِيلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ، فَإِنَّهُ يُحِبُّ أَنْ يَرْجِعَ ، فَيُقْتَلَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no person who dies on the face of the earth, for whom there is a good decision with his Lord, who would like to return to you, except for the one martyred in the way of Allah, for he wishes to return to the world so that he may attain martyrdom again.
