حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ قَوْلِهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى : " لَهُمُ الْبُشْرَى فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الآخِرَةِ سورة يونس آية 64 , فَقَالَ : هِيَ الرُّؤْيَا الصَّالِحَةُ يَرَاهَا الْمُسْلِمُ أَوْ تُرَى لَهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the interpretation of Allah Almighty’s statement: "For them are glad tidings in the life of this world and in the Hereafter" , so the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It means good dreams which a Muslim sees himself or another Muslim sees about him.
