حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يِسَافٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُثَنَّى ، عَنِ ابْنِ امْرَأَةِ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " سَتَكُونُ أُمَرَاءُ تَشْغَلُهُمْ أَشْيَاءُ يُؤَخِّرُونَ الصَّلَاةَ عَنْ وَقْتِهَا ، فَصَلُّوا الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا ، وَاجْعَلُوا صَلَاتَكُمْ مَعَهُمْ تَطَوُّعًا " . .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Soon there will come rulers who will be engrossed in many things out of heedlessness, and they will delay the prayer from its prescribed time. On such occasions, you should perform the prayer at its prescribed time, and then join them with the intention of nafl (supererogatory) prayer.
