حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ , عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " جَاهِدُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ، فَإِنَّ الْجِهَادَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى بَابٌ مِنْ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ ، يُنَجِّي اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى بِهِ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْغَمِّ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Miqdad bin Ma'dikarib (may Allah be pleased with him), and from Hazrat Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him), that they report the saying of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Strive in the path of Allah, for striving in the path of Allah is one of the doors of Paradise, through which Allah Almighty grants a person deliverance from grief and distress."
