حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ ، رِوَايَةً يَبْلُغُ بِهَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا صَلَاةَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَقْرَأْ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The prayer of that person is not valid who cannot recite Surah Al-Fatihah.
