حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا قِلَابَةَ يُحَدِّثُ , عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ ، عَن ْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ ، قَالَ : أَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْنَا كَمَا أَخَذَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ أَوْ عَلَى النَّاسِ ، فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ.
Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Khalid, he said: I heard Abu Qilabah narrating, from Abu al-Ash'ath, from 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, took from us a pledge just as he took from the women or from the people, and he mentioned its meaning.
