Hadith 22664

It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Khubaib (may Allah be pleased with him) that once it was raining and dark, and we were waiting for the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) for prayer. In the meantime, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out and took hold of my hand and said, "Say." I remained silent. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said again, so I asked, "What should I say?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Recite 'Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad' and the Mu'awwidhatayn (Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Naas) three times in the morning and evening. This will suffice you for every day, twice a day."
