Hadith 22526

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he hunted a wild donkey while he was not in the state of Ihram, and all the other companions were in Ihram. The people asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) about this, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) permitted them to eat it.
