Hadith 22491

Qasim, who was the freed slave of Hazrat Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him), says: Once I entered the mosque of Damascus and saw a gathering of people to whom an elder was narrating hadith. I asked the people, "Who is this?" They told me, "This is Hazrat Sahl bin Hanzalah (may Allah be pleased with him)." I heard him saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Whoever eats meat should perform a new ablution.
