Hadith 22485

حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : " رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْكُلُ يَحْتَزُّ مِنْ كَتِفٍ ، ثُمَّ دُعِيَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ ، فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Amr bin Umayyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) eating the meat of a goat's shoulder. Then he was called for prayer, so he threw away the knife and did not perform fresh ablution.
