حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هَمَّامٍ الشَّعْبَانِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ خَثْعَمَ ، قَالَ : كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ ، فَوَقَفَ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ ، وَاجْتَمَعَ عَلَيْهِ أَصْحَابُهُ ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ أَعْطَانِي اللَّيْلَةَ الْكَنْزَيْنِ كَنْزَ فَارِسَ , وَالرُّومِ ، وَأَمَدَّنِي بِالْمُلُوكِ مُلُوكِ حِمْيَرَ الْأَحْمَرَيْنِ , وَلَا مُلْكَ إِلَّا لِلَّهِ ، يَأْتُونَ يَأْخُذُونَ مِنْ مَالِ اللَّهِ ، وَيُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ " قَالَهَا ثَلَاثًا.
It is narrated from a companion of the tribe of Khath'am, may Allah be pleased with him, that we were with the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, in the Battle of Tabuk. One night, when the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, stopped somewhere, the companions, may Allah be pleased with them, also gathered around him. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Tonight Allah Almighty has granted me two treasures: the treasures of Persia and Rome, and He has added to them from the kings of the tribe of Himyar. And there is no true king except Allah. They will come and take from the wealth of Allah, and they will strive in the path of Allah." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, repeated this sentence three times.
