حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَكَّائِيُّ , حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ , عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ , عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ , قَالَ : جَاءَتْ امْرَأَةٌ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَعَهَا ابْنَانِ لَهَا وَهِيَ حَامِلٌ , فَمَا سَأَلَتْهُ يَوْمَئِذٍ إِلَّا أَعْطَاهَا , ثُمَّ قَالَ : " حَامِلَاتٌ وَالِدَاتٌ رَحِيمَاتٌ , لَوْلَا مَا يَأْتِينَ إِلَى أَزْوَاجِهِنَّ , دَخَلْنَ الْجَنَّةَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a woman came to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) with her child, carrying him, to ask for something. Whatever she asked from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he gave it to her. Then he said: "How merciful these mothers are to their children whom they carry! If it were not for what they do with their husbands, then their women who pray would enter Paradise."
