حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ , حَدَّثَنَا حَرِيزُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ , قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أُمَامَةَ , يَقُولُ : قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَيَدْخُلَنَّ الْجَنَّةَ بِشَفَاعَةِ الرَّجُلِ الْوَاحِدِ لَيْسَ بِنَبِيٍّ مِثْلُ الْحَيَّيْنِ , أَوْ أَحَدِ الْحَيَّيْنِ : رَبِيعَةَ , وَمُضَرَ " , فَقَالَ قَائِلٌ : إِنَّمَا رَبِيعَةُ مِنْ مُضَرَ , قَالَ : " إِنَّمَا أَقُولُ مَا أَقُولُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: By the blessing of the intercession of just one man—who will not be a prophet—people equal to the number of the tribes of Rabi’ah and Mudar, or equal to one tribe, will enter Paradise. A man asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Is Rabi’ah not a part of the tribe of Mudar?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "I only say what I am commanded to say."
