لُقْمَانُ , عَنْ
أَبِي أُمَامَةَ , قَالَ : نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ
" قَتْلِ عَوَامِرِ الْبُيُوتِ , إِلَّا مِنْ ذِي الطُّفْيَتَيْنِ وَالْأَبْتَرِ , فَإِنَّهُمَا يُكْمِهَانِ الْأَبْصَارَ , وَتَخْدِجُ مِنْهُنَّ النِّسَاءُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade killing the wild animals that live in houses, except for the snake which has two tails or the one whose tail is cut off; permission is given to kill it because it causes blindness and causes women to miscarry.
