حَدَّثَنَا
زَيْدٌ , حَدَّثَنِي
حُسَيْنٌ , حَدَّثَنِي
أَبُو غَالِبٍ , حَدَّثَنِي
أَبُو أُمَامَةَ , قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ :
" تَقْعُدُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ عَلَى أَبْوَابِ الْمَسَاجِدِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ , فَيَكْتُبُونَ الْأَوَّلَ , وَالثَّانِيَ , وَالثَّالِثَ حَتَّى إِذَا خَرَجَ الْإِمَامُ رُفِعَتْ الصُّحُفُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: On the day of Jumu'ah, the angels come and sit at the doors of the mosques, and they write down the names of those who come first, second, and third. When the Imam comes out, the scrolls are folded up.
