Ja'far says that one day I came to "Farqad" and found him alone. I said to him, O son of Umm Farqad! Today I will definitely ask you about this hadith. Tell me, do you speak about the matter of sinking into the earth and being pelted with stones from your own opinion, or do you narrate it from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)? He said, I narrate it from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). I asked him, then who narrated this hadith to you? He said, Asim bin Amr Bajali narrated it from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him), and he narrated it from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
It is narrated mursal from Ibrahim Nakha'i (may Allah have mercy on him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: A group from my ummah will spend the night engaged in eating, drinking, and amusement. When morning comes, their faces will have been transformed into the faces of monkeys and pigs. Then a wind will be sent upon their palaces, scattering them as the previous people were scattered, because they will consider alcohol to be lawful, will play the daf (musical instruments), and will have made singing women (female singers) for themselves.
