Hadith 22111

It is narrated from Hazrat Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) that in the presence of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), there was a heated argument between two men and one of them became extremely angry. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), seeing his condition, said: "I know a word which, if this man afflicted with anger says it, his anger will go away, and that word is: 'A'udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim' (I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed devil)."
